Faith in Action: Our Church Story
Every church has a beginning — ours was written by the hand of God. We invite you to read how Christ Fellowship was born through prayer, vision, and unwavering faith. May this testimony inspire and remind you that when God calls, He also provides.

A Call to Build
This can highlight the initial divine prompting through Scripture and the spiritual burden to start a church.

Faith in Action
This section can focus on the seven-day fast, spiritual struggles, and the commitment to follow God's call.

God’s Faithfulness
This part can reflect how each year’s promise was fulfilled — the building, the people, and the growing fellowship.
Our Story
I heard the voice of the Lord and He spoke to me through these two verses from the Bible.
Matthew 16:18
“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
1 Chronicles 28:10
“Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a temple as a sanctuary. Be strong and do the work.”
These verses encouraged me, but in the next few days, it got me thinking how it would work out without friends or a group of people. I was very curious to build a church for God. So I decided to fast before God, for a period of 1 week (7 days) from one Sunday to the next Sunday. I tried to stick to it without eating. It was very difficult for the first 2 days because I had to supply myself with just water and no food. At that moment, I remembered a verse from the Bible:
Matthew 4:4
“Jesus answered, ‘It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
He spoke to me again through the verses from the Bible in the year 2017:
2 Kings 19:29-31
“This will be the sign for you, O Hezekiah: This year you will eat what grows by itself, and the second year what springs from that. But in the third year sow and reap, plant vineyards and eat their fruit. Once more a remnant of the house of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above. For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.”
2017/2018
God gave me a big church in the middle of the city of Düsseldorf. In faith, I worshipped there with a family together. It was a congregation where around 150 people can worship. And I thanked God.
2018/2019
God showed me a dream that a family with two children would come to meet me. They asked me about the service and for the first time, I was very happy. I answered them that they could join me and worship God together. The family agreed and we worshipped and also had food together. I was truly amazed and the dream that God showed me had come true.
2019/2020
It was unbelievable — what God had promised me through these verses had come true: “In the third year (2020) you will plant grapevines and eat their fruits. Because a remnant will come from Jerusalem and God will take care of it.” In fact, a lot of people whom I didn’t know came. I was really happy and thanked God. God will show us the way forward.
He spoke again through another verse:
Ezekiel 12:26-28
“The word of the Lord came to me: ‘Son of man, the house of Israel is saying, “The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.” Therefore say to them, “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.”’”
Now we are not alone, but the invisible God is between us.
The one who trusts and believes in God receives glory from God.
That means that He will not let us down, but will always support and bless us.
Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen!
